Kamala, the daughter of King Shanchi and his wife Chitra, fell in love with Kanchan Kumar, who married her. However, Kanchan Kumar was uneasy and was taken to court. Kamala was pregnant and had a son, Manik Kumar. Kamala demanded her son's return, while Kanchan Kumar returned to his empire with Nil Padda and found his wife and child. They reunited and returned to their palace happily.
